B.September 8, 1870 Coon Island,Pennsylvania D. October 17, 1950 Buried in Omena Hillcrest Cemetery Parents: James Frazier and Mary McLean. Mary trained as a nurse at the hospital of her uncle, Thomas McLean, in Cincinnati. While Mary was in training her uncle brought her on a vacation to Omena, and as so many have done, she fell in love with the area. Mary was among the first group of women nurses to serve in the military. Part of her service was near Chickamauga, Georgia. |
